Mission to Improve the Legacy Park Experience
The SDGC 2022/2023 goal is to replace the aging basket hardware on the course. Our club is currently seeking businesses who want to partner with SDGC to expand their brand recognition while supporting a growing, free to play sport.
Legacy Park
Legacy Park is home to Squamish's only 18 hole disc golf course and is arguably the best course in the Sea to Sky corridor. Located on Squamish's Sea to Sky Nordic Club grounds it is a destination for disc golfers across British Columbia and hosts hundreds of local and out of town visitors every week. Since 2019 the Legacy Course has been home to 18 hand made baskets that were repurposed from the now dissolved Garibaldi Springs Disc Golf Course. Although these baskets are a huge step forward from the days of tonals, these baskets are now showing their age, wear, and are lacking the consistency players are accustomed to today.

Volunteers
The Squamish Disc Golf Club in partnership with Sea to Sky Nordic Club has invested hundreds of volunteered hours in transforming the Legacy Park Course into a disc golf destination in the lower mainland. Without the donation of the used disc golf baskets in 2019 and material donations from local businesses, this course would not be possible. Huge thanks to all of the donations and volunteers that have been a part of this journey.
Sponsorship & Support
The Squamish Disc Golf Club is looking for hole sponsors to help with increasing the quality of play and experience at the Legacy Park Disc Golf Course. SDGC is looking for local businesses to help grow the sport and sponsor a hole of their choosing on the course. Two levels of sponsorship are available and SDGC will maximize the visibility of each hole sponsor by "wrapping" each basket in the sponsors branding and/or name. SDGC has partnered with Whistler based RideWrap to apply the branding to the tops of the baskets and tee signs.
